Little Women is a novel written by American author Louisa May Alcott. It tells the story of the four March sisters, Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy. The book tells the story of them growing from children into adulthood. I personally love this book because of the growth it shows. Not only the physical growth and standard things that come with getting older, but the emotional growth we see happen to every single one of the girls. It’s not just them growing out of their desires or ambitions, it’s them working to either achieve them or accept what they cannot change. Even though growing up comes with a lot of anxiety, this book provides much comfort and holds true over a hundred years after its release.
