The X Files: Goblins is the first book in the book series created around the hit sci-fi TV show The X Files. It’s a good book for an afternoon thriller read, and features the story of the classic characters Mulder and Scully attempting to put together the pieces of a case from information they get from government officials and locals, specifically a woman who claims to see “goblins.” The story isn’t perfect, as the characters, especially those added on for the book, aren’t very well rounded, but it does it’s job as entertainment and is an enjoyable read, though it may feel a bit slow at times.
