What’s up guys! I am back with another book review! This book was a tad under my league, but I still enjoyed reading it! I reviewed………….Drum Roll, Please……. Our Police! Our Police, a book written by Jack E. Levin, the father of my favorite radio host Mark R. Levin!!!!!! Let’s get into the book!
From traffic police to police helicopter pilots, the book identifies various types of police positions. I liked the book because it tells the reader what policemen do to keep our communities safe. For example, Mr. Levin wrote, “Police helicopter pilots can quickly transport sick people to hospitals and because they can see miles in any direction, they can provide security at major events.” He also wrote, ” Ahoy to the water police, a special force that patrols the waterway and keeps boats, ships, and even kayaks safe from harm.” I think it’s pretty cool that police helicopters can see miles and miles ahead of them. It’s cool because as human beings, we can’t see miles ahead of ourselves.
I enjoyed this book a lot and when I think about Our Police, I realize policemen are real superheroes! They are so generous!!!! Anyway, as an artist myself, the illustration was unusual but surpassed my expectations. I mean, Da Vinci didn’t draw it, but overall it wasn’t too bad! I would recommend it to anyone with a young child. I also think it would be a great gift for policemen with children.
I give this book 5 stars and not just because it was written by my favorite radio host’s father, but because it was awesome (and it was written by my favorite radio host’s father). BRAVO!
